HTML email signatures that look right in Gmail, Outlook and on phones, and are easy to update for the whole team.
However good an e-mail signature looks, if it is coded wrongly it falls apart in Outlook, overflows on phones or shows an empty box instead of the logo. With our HTML email signature coding service we code your signature to the rules of e-mail clients so it looks consistent in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail.
Why a Properly Coded Signature
E-mail clients support far less HTML and CSS than web browsers. Classic Outlook for Windows in particular renders e-mail with a Word-based engine, which is why signatures built like web pages break. A properly coded signature:
- Keeps the same layout in every client thanks to tables and inline styles.
- Loads images from public, secure (https) addresses and gives every image alt text.
- Starts a call or an e-mail with one tap through phone and e-mail links.
- Stays readable when images are blocked.
What We Do
- Code your approved design as e-mail-safe HTML
- Check it in Gmail, Outlook (classic, new and web) and Apple Mail
- Use a logo that stays sharp on high-resolution screens
- Check how it looks in dark mode
- Provide a step-by-step guide for adding it to Gmail and Outlook
If you do not have a signature design yet, we can plan the design and coding together with our email signature design service.
Consistent Signatures for the Whole Team
As a team grows, preparing everyone's signature by hand gets harder, and different logos and old phone numbers creep in. Team signatures can be generated and updated from the approved template through an admin panel: enter the new employee's details, and when the logo or address changes, all signatures are refreshed from one place.
